Privacy Policy for Noggle
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how Noggle (the "app") handles information. The app is provided by Prepfield ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
1. The short version
- There is no account and no sign-in.
- We do not collect personal data ourselves and we run no server that stores your data.
- Your game progress, hints and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob and handles purchases through RevenueCat and Apple/Google. These services process some data, described below.
2. Data stored on your device
Level progress, stars, hint balance, settings and purchase state are stored locally on your device. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them. Because there is no account, progress and hints are not restored after a reinstall. "Restore purchases" brings back the ad-free status only.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads (rewarded ads and occasional ads between levels) through Google AdMob. AdMob and Google may collect and use, as described in Google's own privacy policy:
- your advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android),
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version),
- ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) and diagnostic data.
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and similar regions, we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before ads are requested. You can change your choice later in the app's settings, where available.
iOS. On iOS, we ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using the advertising ID for tracking. If you decline, you still see ads but they are not personalized by tracking.
Non-personalized ads. If you do not consent, or when personalized ads are not allowed, ads are requested in non-personalized mode. They are based on context such as the current app, not on a profile of you.
You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. More information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
4. Purchases (RevenueCat, Apple, Google)
Optional in-app purchases (remove ads, hint packs) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage the ad-free entitlement. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and transaction information and an anonymous app user id generated for your installation. It may also process your IP address and device information. We do not link this id to your name or identity. See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
5. Analytics
The app contains an analytics module, but at the time of this policy no analytics provider is connected and no analytics data is sent. If we add an analytics or crash-reporting provider, this policy will be updated first, and consent will be requested where required.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for ad personalization and use of advertising identifiers.
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) for processing your purchases.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for serving non-personalized ads, fraud prevention and security.
7. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by the service providers named above (Google, RevenueCat, Apple), which may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
8. Retention
We store no personal data ourselves. Retention by Google, RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play is governed by their policies.
9. Children
Noggle is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age for consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us at [email protected].
10. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO). Because we hold no personal data directly, most requests are best directed at the providers above. Contact us at [email protected] and we will help forward or answer your request.
California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Advertising partners may collect identifiers and usage data for cross-context behavioral advertising, which can count as "sharing" under California law. You can opt out by declining the tracking or ad consent prompt, using the advertising settings of your device, or contacting us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Security
Purchases and ad requests use encrypted connections. Local data is stored on your device under the protection of your operating system.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the store listing.
